Important: Retainers are custom-made based on the intraoral scan of your teeth taken by your orthodontist. It is essential that this scan reflects the most up-to-date position of your teeth to ensure a proper fit.

If you have not consistently worn your retainer, your teeth may have shifted since your last scan. Because retainers are fabricated from that exact digital model, any movement of your teeth could result in a poor fit. Our goal is to provide you with a high-quality, well-fitting retainer, and if our lab identifies any discrepancies with your scan, we will contact you right away before moving forward.

Hawley retainers require final adjustments by your orthodontist to ensure a perfect fit. For that reason, all Hawley retainers are delivered directly to your orthodontist’s office. After placing your order, please contact your orthodontist to schedule a Hawley Retainer Fit Appointment to ensure the best possible fit and comfort.

Shipping generally requires 2–5 additional business days. Please allow 7–10 total business days from the date of your order to receive your retainers.
